Abstract
Postural control (PC) allows head balance, stability of the trunk, seating, standing and walking, using proximal and axial muscles.
Cerebral cortex is involved in PC and locomotion through corticoreticulospinal tract (CRST).
Ipsilateral muscle contraction after a spTMS is due to a CRST activation.
It is registered as an iMEP.
Activate CRST using TMS, has been proposed as therapeutic strategy.
Theoretically, this could help in PC and gait disorders.
